I can only echo what the previous reviewer has said about this pub. It's a relic from a bygone era, a classic rural English local. The draught choice here is very limited and you won't find cask ales or real cider. Bottles are the best option. We tr... [more>]

Quite possibly the best pub ever. No jukebox, telly, any ambient sound.....chairs ranged along both walls, an original bar skittles takes pride of place. Open fires at both ends of this one-room pub. Excellent local cider. Come and drink like you wer... [more>]
