Looks like a pub and indeed, when passing and looking through the window, it had a long bar. I thought I would venture in but instantly recognised my mistake when pounced on by a Maitre d' and told to sit down. Everyone else was dining - so I budge... [more>] |

This is a handsome seventeenth-century coaching inn in the middle of this tourist town; I suspect its main trade centres around coach parties these days. The public bar (Dovers Bar - I don't know either) is fine and appeals to locals as well as gues... [more>] |
