The Ship was the better of the two pubs we tried in Chatteris. From the outside, it didn't look too promising. The car park is just across a side road and had a few items dumped in it. Outside, there was a blackboard stating that it was cash only and... [more>] |

I note that this pub in the centre of Chatteris was runner-up in the local CAMRA organisation's Town Pub of the Year competition. They presumably visited it on a good day, with decent beers sampled. The beer I tried here (Lacon's Norfolk Gem) was eas... [more>] |
