A plaque beside the front door declares a connection with James Herriot, though I'm not sure how resonant that would be with most people nowadays. It's a traditional country hotel with the public bar something of an afterthought. There are four hand ... [more>] |

First stop of day 4 of the Inn Way. Large, multi roomed hotel/pub. Beer was OK. No-one else was in there at lunch - so hard to gauge. Some photos at my walking blog - http://bit.ly/1YHbnJy |
