Being on the A25, this has probably always been more than the village pub it now claims to be, and with a modernised (if semi-traditional) multi-room room interior, it certainly now resembles something like unbranded Vintage Inn in the M&B portfolio.... [more>]

Visited this pub recently and was very impressed. Usual Greene King ales IPA & Abbotts. Was impressed with the food and service. I gather that this pub is now under new management. As I visited at night time could not get a good sight of the gardens ... [more>]
