Upmarket food-led pub, run by the Whiting & Hammond chain, housed in a fine old inn overlooking Bessels Green. Various seating and dining areas inside, with a large rear patio / grass beer garden (featuring some curious 'Kings Huts' for hire). Also... [more>] |

I found this pub very quiet, but more in a funereal than a relaxing way. The building is ideally situated for a local, being at the heart of this busy village, but the business isn't what it could be. The interior is basic and traditional, but the ... [more>] |
