Visited in April. Two banks of hand pulls at the bar offering the usuals plus guests. Old Rosie cider was clipped but was presumably just advertising for bag in a box. Outdoor seating to the front, side and rear. The rear looked to be the larger out... [more>]

A lesser known stop on the Pennine Rail-Ale tour, overshadowed by luminaries such as the West Riding Licensed Refreshment Rooms one stop south at Dewsbury and The Station Buffet Bar in Stalybridge. Down a stair or two so I guess it counts as a cellar... [more>]
