Victorian hotel building, converted to a Spoons around 2011. Was in the midst of redecorating when I dropped in but looked nice and I liked the cast iron bar upper. Newly installed wood (vinyl chipboard) panelling and there’s a tidy Art Nouveau skyli... [more>]

Situated on Church Street about 15 yards from the Wetherspoons, this is a decent one roomed bar with a friendly landlord. The was 2 Holt's cask beers on the go plus 2 duplicated banks of 5 kegs from the usual suspects. Opens from 8am
