Upmarket Arkells pub in an attractive building. Plenty of rooms off the main opened-out corridor with the bar off left. It's rather well done with a decent amount of cosiness, rooms and nik-naks which attracts a mature and fairly well-heeled clientel... [more>]

Two room local (lounge and bar), fairly well kept from a 70’s refit (arched knock-through, modern black beams, solid-looking wooden servery upper and lower). Darts and football are the order of the day. Just Doom Bar on cask which was cheap and mildl... [more>]

Actually my view is that this place has massively improved since Steve’s review. It still is the same physical place, quite busy with locals on my late evening visit. Pool table in demand and dual dartboards present but not utilised on the evening. ... [more>]

Originally visited on 22/09/2021 and revisited tonight as a result of delayed train back to Lewes. This is a a lovely small station station bar, indeed I can’t think of a better example of this type of venue. On my quick visit there didn’t seem to ... [more>]
