Rambling series of smallish rooms with a varied selection of tables and seating. Smart and attentive staff.3 standard and 5 local ales, all 50p dearer than normal. Tourist prices in a tourist town. | |

I liked the grand exterior of this pub and also noted the name of the pub in mosaic tiles at the main threshold. Three ales on handpump, Trumans Swift was the best choice on this visit. | |

I thought this pub was going to be a bit of a mecca for some fellow alers, on our Saturday eve visit, only to find one solitary customer drinker lager. Four handpumps with three in use. I went for Cottage Brewery Rib Tickler, a non-descript beer. | |
