Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Dewdrop

Old-school estate pub retaining two separate bars, both with other side rooms, and all with semi-traditional furniture and relatively plain décor. Also has a front beer garden (with a good number of wooden benches) that catches any sun for most of the day. Pool, dartboard and plenty of events advertised . As a Shepherd Neame house, it was good to find a pair of cask ales available from the three handpumps: Master Brew and the seasonal Cobnut (£5.00). Overall, nothing special (superficially), but gives the impression of being a real community asset.

E TA left this review about Dewdrop Inn

The Israeli Paratrooper, as we used to call this pub, was opened in 1957, the licence having been transferred from The Dew Drop Inn in Brompton the previous year. This was part of a post-war move of people away from the densely populated Dockyard area of Gillingham to the newly-built Twydall estate. It's currently a Shepherd and Neame house, a large symmetrical building on a corner plot with 2 matching bars, both carpeted. There is the standard annoying gaming machine and a projector for screening sports matches. Stays open extra hours when Gills are playing at home. Staff and clientele are friendly enough, and the decor is fine for its purpose. Two ales on - I had a pint of S&N Best which was served slightly too cold and wasn't particularly well kept. Worth dropping in in passing, and it's the only pub left open in Twydall.

Local community pub, situated in the village of Twydall - between Gillingham & Rainham, off the A2. The pub offers its customers a number of traditional pub games and has developed numerous teams for darts, pool and cards. The pub also offers ample parking, smoking area, beer garden, facilities for disabled customers and welcomes families and children. Sunday lunches available at very reasonable rates. CHECK OUT THE WEBSITE FOR MORE INFORMATION ON THIS ESTABLISHMENT.
