Busy bowling and social club overlooking the bowling greens themselves and tucked away at the end of a narrow lane in Penn.
This club is a regular in the Good Beer Guide and serves 4 cask ales. On my Saturday evening visit, these were Hobson's Town Crier, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde, Castle Rock Harvest Pale & Ludlow Stairway.
There is a large main room and a separate function room. Every table was taken in the main room, with many watching live Premier League football on the multitude of TV screens.
For a decent pint in this area of Wolverhampton, this is a good place to head for. However, it may not be possible to gain entry unless you are a CAMRA member.
