Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bedford Arms
Solid-looking but attractive building located on the northern edge of the town centre, proclaiming itself as a 'Speciality Beer House'. It retains a traditional two-bar layout, with the larger of the two rooms having an additional seating area down a couple of steps which is also used for the regular folk and jazz events. After a promising start following the re-branding, the beer selection seemed to reduce for a while but thankfully it was back to its best with all 11 handpumps working on my recent visit. About half of these had offerings from the Wells/Youngs stable plus several from Kettering Brewery (e.g. Teck't T'ride at £.20) and a couple of other guests beers. Well worth seeking out.
