Nice mirco pub in a (sewing machine?) shop conversion. Single roomer with small tables around the outside walls.
I asked the barman - who bore an uncanny resemblance to Paul Calf - for a serviette to dry my mobile phone. This caused some conversion. Maybe they have a different name for them in Cov, like the batches that they sell.
Four or five cask on - my choice was in excellent condition - and lots of Belgian/Internation bottles.

Our route from The Gatehouse Tavern took us past The Town Hill Tavern to see if that had reopened ( sadly it hadn’t ) with the knowledge that this was our next port of call a short distance further and it did not disappoint.
A fairly straight forward shop conversion into a bar, but an eclectic artwork collection covering the two main rooms gives the place some character and a large increasing pump clip wall leaves you in no doubt where the focus is.
Five of the six ale pumps on the bar were in operation with Shindigger 8 Ball Stout, Bristol Beer Factory To the Sky American IPA, Wilde Child Princess Warrior, Marble Graphene Pale Ale and Castle Rock Easton Meadows ESB as the available choices. I went for the Marble Graphene on the grounds that I have never had a Marble beer I didn’t like, and I still haven’t.
This is a very decent micropub and should be included in any crawl of Coventry centre.

Probably the pick of the City Centre pubs for beer. Friendly service.
5 cask on and my Bang The Elephant Lucky Punch was excellent.
Well worth a visit.
