Bowd Inn
Bowd
Postal town: Sidmouth
EX10 0ND

A large thatched, detached pub, with white rendered and black beamed exterior, with large beer garden and children's paly area. Also has a date stone of 1651.
The interior is open plan, with one area reserved as an adult only quiet zone. The decor continues with the black beam and white look, with stone flagged floor, lots of brass ornaments and old pictures, as well as a nice large fireplace.
It is aimed at families and is set up more for food. The food we had was all fine, the service good and it was well attended.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Exmoor Ale (not to my taste), Adnams Broadside, Otter Bitter and Ale (all three nice) on handpull.
Not a pub to visit just for a drink, i think i would go only if eating.
