Old village pub with a beautifully-kept exterior, unspoilt by advertising signs. The inside is slightly surprising though, being stripped back to bare polished floors and white walls, largely furnished with modern tables. However the welcome was exceptionally friendly, the beers (Dartmoor Legend and Doom Bar) in fine form and the food looked very good, although not sampled. There is of course a flowery beer garden outside. A modern take on a country pub, but pretty nice.
