A bit disappointing this as we expected a boozer with over 20 beers on to have a fair bit to go at.
It's a modern craft beer bar with full glass windows at the front harking back to it's previous incarnation.
Clientele was mixed in age but all very smart - even the students looked jarringly respectable.
A large blackboard to the right of the bar lists your beer choices in some detail and included on our visit three cask beers: West Berkshire Good Old Boy, Burning Sky Plateau and Oakham JHB and 18 keg offerings including beers from Beavertown, Thornbridge, West Berkshire and Camden Town.
The cask selection didn't inspire and didn't get rave reviews so I went for a Beavertown Gamma Ray as a safe bet. Disappointingly it was fairly flavourless which may have been due to high fizz and low temperature. We weren't tempted to try a second.
Probably worth a look in to see if something on appeals but I'd exit hastily if it doesn't.

A modern bar in a shop conversion, open plan with a large board to the right describing the beer choice from 18 keg taps and three real ale handpumps.I was disappointed by the choice on my trip with the real ale West Berkshire Good Old Boy,Burning Sky Plateau (watery) and something else non descript.Even the keg selection didn't feature many leading names and was too chilled and over carbonated.Despite being popular with the young and beautiful of Oxford,I only stayed for a pint.Squinting at the menu gave me the impression that food prices were close to rip off.I can't see the reason to revisit.

A deceptively large space internally with a long bar stretching along the side wall, there is also a downstairs seating area with an open kitchen, this area was being used for drinking purposes as well as dining on a Saturday evening. Back upstairs to the bar there are just three
Handpumps for cask offerings, but keg is king here with 18 taps of the craft persuasion, all taps and handles were badged and clipped but there was also a large blackboard with the full list to save jostling at the bar to have a look. I stayed cask on this occasion and tried a pint of West Berks Maharajah, I failed to note the other beers.
Not a bad pub of its ilk.
