Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Costello's Bar
As the Dunham Massey taphouse, it was no surprise to find five of its beers - including a fine dark Mild (£2.70) - plus a couple of the associated Lymm Brewing beers on the seven handpumps. However, apart from that, this is perhaps more of a mini-pub rather than a micro one since there is enough space for a reasonable amount of semi-modern furniture inside. Additionally, the small tables out front were a prime spot in the early evening sunshine.

Bucking Fastard left this review about Costello's Bar
A modern shop conversion, this bar is the brewery tap for the Dunham Massey Brewery and their sister operation Lymm Brewery.Money has been spent here and there is a grey wood floor,a selection of seating including some small banquettes, while the bar is on the rear left side.Large plate glass windows at the front give a lot of natural light, while there is seating outside .On one wall there is an artificial fire display, while light muzak was playing.
It's popular with local folk with a mix of ages, but it's principal focus is on CAMRA types. The 7 handpumps were all serving the owners beers, and although my Lymm IPA wasclear and drinkable,it's an undistinguished brew.My colleagues who went for the Dunham Massey ales felt much the same and this resulted in a one pint stop before searching for more interesting ale in Warrington.
Maybe the idea of stocking guests is not done as this may expose the house beers to comparison that may well be unfavourable, despite being well kept with a range of strengths and style,I felt they were dull.
