I turned up here before midday on a Saturday morning to find a group being given a talk about the brewery in the reception area. The receptionist pointed me to the steps and wheelchair lift that lead to the bar. This is a very modern room with a few high tables and chairs as you enter and the main room with the bar along the left side, a wooden floor and square tables & chairs. One side of the room is adorned with three old conditioning tanks. It was empty when I arrived but later people started drifting in.
The bar has six hand pumps with Robinson's beers and a few of their keg offerings which I didn't take much notice of. The beers were Unicorn, Wizard, Trooper, Dizzy Blonde, Trooper Red 'N' Black and their White Label Kerpow. I tried the Kerpow (£3.30) and the Trooper Red 'N' Black (£3.50). Both were in very good condition but I thought the Kerpow tasted like any Robinson's beer while the Trooper one was somewhat better. Both were new beers to me.
Clearly this isn't a proper pub but I quite liked it as I've still got a soft spot for the brewery having spent many hours in their pub in the Llanberis Pass watching the pouring rain and wondering when it might stop. If you've been to the brewery's usual suspects in Stockport and don't mind their beers it's well worth a look.
Current opening hours are 09:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 09:00-18:00 Friday, 10:30-18:00 Saturday and 10:30-16:00 Sunday. Note these are brewery tour times so I've no idea what happens if there isn't one arranged.

Called in here and was greeted by a nice young lady on reception who asked if she could help me. I said "Am I OK to just go down to the bar for a drink?" She told me "Of course you can". Went down to the bar, when I asked for a half of the Robbies seasonal the barmaid said, "Sorry, but the bar closes at 5". It was 4:40 and I'd only asked for a half. I pointed this out, but was still refused. I know that most of the senior management at Robbies are clueless tossers, but I didn't realise it was endemic, even down to the junior barmaids.
