Colin Walker left this review about Matha Dickies

This was the former Matha' Dickies that used to be at 11 Kyle Street just less than 200 yards round the corner. It is now at this new site diagonally across from the train station. The place sits at 22B Smith Street and when searching the entrance is between the 2 sets of tenements. There is a small sitting area in front of the entrance, which you find yourself sitting amongst the empty kegs. The pub is on 2 levels. The pub had just opened and the beer was being delivered, so having ordered my pint I did not have time to ask about the upper level. Plenty of seating in a place lit by interior lighting as there are no windows to the bar except at the entrance.
