Steve C left this review about Britannia Inn

The Britannia Inn is an L-shaped pub with a large L-shaped bar counter that faces the entrance and seating to the front and banquettes up the right-hand side. The left-hand side of the pub is a games room with a pool table. There was a group of builder types having some sort of belly off and the rest of the locals all seemed up for a bit of bants. The televisions throughout were ready for Champions League kick-off via TNT Sport. Friendly service and a decent atmosphere, but with only standard keg and Madri being available it’s a bit too far from town to warrant a revisit.

A double fronted freshly white rendered build with a white rendered side extension and rear patio area. The interior had seen the old rooms widened out into areas rather than rooms, one having a pool table. We sat at the back in what was like a former snug. The place advertises itself as a bar and grill, so there was nothing in the way of real ale so I had a Thatcher's Gold cider. The food, while it took a while, was very good so on complaints there. The service was fine and a mixed clientele (and a mix of eating and drinking) populated. TVs showed sport and there was no music. While I wouldn't bother to stop for a drink, I would to eat.
