Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Heritage
'Traditional' micro-pub formed from two small rooms with a two-step level difference in between. Simply furnished and decorated, although the high tables and bench seating in the larger part won't be to everyone's taste. Three real ales on handpump: Charrington IPA from Burton's Heritage Brewing, Brentwood Brewery's Strictly Scrum Dancing (£3.80, excellent) and Mad Cat 9th Life. Friendly landlord too.

A compact and well thought out micro, where they have maximised their seating and table space. All the timber work including the bench seating, along with the bar was finished in pine. The bench seating had some cushions and the walls were painted in a light peach colour.
The local barmaid on our visit was welcoming and chatty. Three ales Cotleigh IPA, Mad Cat Red Ale and Flipside Russian Rouble.

Aqualung . left this review about The Heritage
This is a proper micropub with just mainly local ales, ciders and wines. It's a small split level room with the bar area on the left up a couple of steps and a lower area at the entrance which has four high tables and benches on the walls. The bar area has two low tables, a bench by the window and a few low chairs.
Five ales were on Charrington's IPA, Wantsum 1381, Mad Cat Mild Disobedience, Gadds Dr Sunshine's Wheat Beer and Brew Buddies George's Buddy. I had time to try the Gadds, Mad Cat and Brew Buddies beers all of which were £3.20 and in very good condition. The Charrington's IPA may seem an odd choice of beers but the landlady here has connections with the Charrington dynasty. They kindly gave me a taster and it bears no resemblance to the rather sweet rubbish from Birmingham that Bass Charrington pubs used to serve.
This is another fine micropub but watch the Friday opening hours in the winter months at least as they seemed to be closing just after 13:00.
