It was unfortunate that on a visit to Lock 91 back in November I picked a day when they were having gas issues so only bottles were available. £5 for a 330 ml bottle of Birra Moretti, ouch! The bar is found beyond a seating area by the entrance and the bar counter supports six craft beer taps and two cask ale pumps. There is limited seating in the bar area, but more seating is found to the right where there is also some outside seating on a balcony that overhangs the canal. Unfortunately the stairs going up to the next floor and down to the advertised cocktail terrace were both roped off. The TV in the bar was switched off, but there was some background music playing. I don’t think I caught this place at the best time so I will pop back in again for another try when next in the area.

Now three handpumps on the bar, but still only one badged. This was First Chop MCR which was in good nick.

Small bar consisting of several small rooms. There's a small terrace and a downstairs lounge. On the ground floor there's a room with a pool table. One handpump on the bar selling Hobgoblin at a rip off £2.10 for a half. It was a decent enough beer though. Not really for me, although it's good to see a bar like this selling real ale.
