I didn't recognise the place on my most recent visit and such has been the change with a recent refurb that I only realised I'd visited previously form the review below.
Although the layout hasn't changed the feel certainly has. It's more modern and less cosy although that could just be that this was a winter rather than a summer visit.
Beers on were Woodforde Wherry, the barman told us that the Woodforde brewery owner also owns the pub, and North Cotswold Fosseway Flanker which was decent but not as good as many from this brewery.
We popped in for a swift one to break a decent walk and it's ok for that.

Original Review June 2019
The Ebrington Arms is an archetypal, pretty, Cotswold stone, traditional village pub.
The small bar is to the right and has all the expected trimmings - comfortable, mixed wood furniture and wooden floors. There was though only limited room for drinkers on Saturday lunchtime as most of the tables both around the bar and in the dining room were reserved.
One of those was for us as we were here for a family lunch which went very well. The food was excellent, and so it should be at just shy £10 for starters and up to £20 for mains, and the service was tremendous. Friendly, easy and very professional without being over the top.
There's plenty of room for a glass or two in the well kept garden, if you're not eating and the weather is decent, and you're rewarded with a compelling view of rolling countryside.
Beers on were mainly from Stroud with those labelled Yubberton brewed by Stroud for the pub. The four handpumps displayed the following clips: Yubberton Goldie, Yubberton Yubby, Stroud Tom Long and Flying Monk Hoptimistic Monk. Three of these didn't trouble the 4% mark with one at 4.2% and, whilst all that we tried were in good shape, those from Stroud confirmed my view that their beers are, at best, dull.
A great place to celebrate your mother's birthday but I wouldn't make a special journey for a session.

An attractive looking Cotswold stone pub, tucked away in this pleasant but very small village, I assume it doesn’t get too much in the way of passing trade, but was nonetheless very busy on our recent mid-week lunchtime visit, although most of the punters who were there were dining, no doubt enticed by the number of Michelin accolades on the door.

The pub is split across several levels, with the main bar area being in the narrower part at the front of the pub. This is quite traditional, with old wooden boards on the floor that have been worn smooth over the years, along with some flagstones at the far end. A very large fireplace with a stone-built hearth was something of a feature, and there was also a much smaller fireplace with a wood burning stove and a pile of logs stacked up at the opposite end. Walls were a mixture of exposed stonework and purple plasterwork, along with purple wood panelling down below. Chunky wooden beams on the ceiling had been painted white which perhaps spoilt the effect somewhat, but overall it was all very convivial. A number of old black and white photographs of the locale were dotted around the walls, and a TV screen was up in the corner, although fortunately this was switched off on our visit. The rest of the pub seems to be more given over to dining, and whilst broadly similar in terms of style with a good mix of rustic and contemporary and with flagstone flooring throughout. Some curved wooden seating was an unusual feature, looking as though they had been carved straight from an enormous barrel.

Beers on tap were both from the North Cotswold Brewery with their Jumping Jack Frost and Winter Solstice, whilst a further two pumps appeared unused. That said, pump clips for the same brewery’s Hung, Drawn & Portered as well as Butty Bach were prominently displayed behind the bar, so perhaps these were also available. The solitary cider meanwhile was Stowford Press. Overall, a very pleasant pub, but perhaps the strong emphasis on food makes it slightly less of a destination for the committed drinker.

Greeted by a sign saying its "The Times best village Inn in the Uk". Big claim, but you can kind of see where they are coming from.

Tiny front bar. Long dining room, with a sign saying only for diners.

1pm on a Saturday lunch and no choice but to stand at bar and get in everyone's way. Strange, when there is so much room available.

Beer wise, there was a Mild from North Cotswold Brewery and two of their own brands - Yubberton Yubby and Goldie. The Yubby was good enough to prompt me to buy three bottles to take home.

Worth seeking out.
