Traditional corner pub with a well kept interior which was also traditional in style. The manageress and locals were friendly and welcoming. The downside for me was that they only now tend to sell all national beers, so not scoring many points there. Maybe it was a good freehouse in its day and now could have been taken over by one of the large pub companies.
Beer choice on my visit was Timothy Taylor Landlord, Doombore, Black Sheep, Wells Bombardier, so I went for the guest, which was from Castle Rock.
