This old stone building in the village of Llandudoch (or St Dogmaels) has been extended at various times down towards the river, providing views for diners. The original pub has the bar counter, with a mixture of various types of seating including low sofas. On the bar are four hand pumps with a real cider and three real ales, all from Brains: Rev James and the Blonde version of same, plus Rising Sun. After my bike ride mostly against the wind through the Preseli hills, it was nice to relax and refresh before continuing to the youth hostel in nearby Poppit Sands - I'd have returned in the evening for another, but didn't fancy the winding, hilly and narrow road in the dark.
