Alan Winfield left this review about No Man's Grace

No Man's Grace looks like a proper pub but it is not a proper pub at all.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side, the room is bare boarded and the seating normal tables and chairs.
There were no real ales on the bar,but there was some craft keg crap on,i had a drink of Wild Beer Bibble, which was expensive, cold, fizzy and crap, how people can drink this overpriced fizzy crap is beyond me,as i struggled with an half.

More of a tapas bar than your traditional pub, there are nonetheless a few bar stools where I’m sure you could pop in for a pint, although on our recent visit all punters were eating and all but one of the tables was occupied. Service was friendly and helpful, although a little slapdash at times – dessert menus were presented to us without cleaning the table for example, which still had detritus from our main course all over it.

It’s a single room pub with large, dual aspect windows, including a small stained glass window above the entrance door. The floor is sanded wood and the paintwork one of the usual gastro-pub shades of grey. A photography exhibition of a landscape/nature theme was showcased on the walls, and many of these were also for sale.

The menu was of the tapas variety as mentioned previously, and consisted of nine or ten choices at around the £7 mark, so slightly more than many other tapas restaurants. On the whole the food was decent enough, and our choices included black pudding croquettes; mussels with bacon, cider, cream & parsley; cauliflower with almond & chilli; pork belly with treacle, celeriac and apple and braised ox cheek with lentils and horseradish. Desserts were I had heard something of a speciality here with even a desert bar like some London joints where a dessert is paired with a wine. In practise though, there were only three or four choices whereas I had expected a little more. A toffee cake and a ganache were both pretty good and well presented, but then at £7.50 you could argue that they should be.

The solitary beer on tap was Camden Pale Ale, whilst the cider was Sandford Devon Red. Overall I thought this was a decent enough tapas restaurant, but if you’re after something a little more “pubby”, then it may not be for you.
