The Iron Duke was a very grim looking 60s built pub that was in one of the precincts on the hulme estate,the whole area looked pretty dire so i was pleased to get this pub done before it closed down.
Once inside i went in the bar which was very basic and also seemed quite a rough pub to have a drink in,i am not sure if there were any other rooms.
This pub was a Bass tied house and there were no real ales on here i had a drink of keg Bass special and this was a pretty poor drink.
I enjoyed walking round and drinking in this area but it has now been demolished and a lot of the street patterns have altered.
