Bar Rosso is joined onto the Southbank Bar which are both close to Nottinghan Forests city ground.
I have tried to do this bar for a number of years and it has always been closed,so i decided to do it on a match day,it was open at last.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room,the bar is to the front left and this area was in darkness,there was a small leather bench seat at the front and very little in the middle area of the room,the rear had some leather settees.
There were no real ales on the bar but strangley there was an Harvest Pale pump clip behind the bar,the keg bitter was John Smiths Extra Cold Crap which it was.
The bar was heaving with Forest fans at about 2.30,these mostly had colours on and seemed decent enough.
I car'nt see any reason to use this bar when there is a far better option next door.
When i returned to take a photo of this pub at 3.05 the doors were firmly closed.
