After an extended period of closure, Orange Tree has been replaced by Prestwich Social. The long bar runs down the right hand wall where standard and premium keg products can be purchased. The bar faces some high tables and three large circular booths beyond that separate the bar area from the raised dining area in the left hand side of the building. The burgers are priced at £13. On the rear wall are three more booths and table football can be played in the front right corner. There are no televisions, but some music from the likes of Phil Collins was playing in the background. At the foot of the couple of steps up to the dining area are two horses from a carousel, I’m unsure of the relevance.
I found the barman to be very friendly and the Blue Moon was good, but I’m not a huge fan of drinking in “Bar & Restaurant” establishments so I’ll not be returning just for a beer again.

Horrible, soulless, crap. Apparently an ex-Smith and Jones place and it makes those places look positively great. A bad Wethers wannabe with 4 handpumps on the bar and all dispensing Doom Bore. Rubbish.

Changed its name from the fairfax its a Smith and Jones concept nice and clean but trying for food more than beer
