Had a meal there 25/08/12, all four of us really enjoyed our meals,I had the Spanish paella, which was really good with plenty of it served with garlic bread,i had the local dark bitter which was really nice.my friends had lamb chops, chicken with rissoto, and ribbs, they were all really nice, and so unexpected in a country pub,the last time i was there a few years ago i was dissapointed. What a great improvment, cant wait to try it again.

Fairly plush roadside pub in glorious location, but seems to concentrate more on being a restaurant. Three local ales on handpump at time of visit, all in good form. Check opening - closed Weds and Thurs.
