A large local 1930s built mock-tudor pub on a corner plot on the main road into town, the Queen's Head is a lively pub, very luch one for the locals. The atmosphere is testosterone-laden, which makes for an interesting ambience when mixed with the gaming machines and tv screen showing sport. Although it gets loud, it wasn't threatening though. The pub consists of a single large corner bar, and there is a reasonably sized garden. There were 3 ales advertised, but none of them was actually available. OK for a noisy pint, but don't come here for the ale.
