Another Wetherspoons' cinema conversion that is certainly spacious inside. There is also plenty of seating on an outdoor patio at the rear.
The real ale selection seems to be gradually picking up in branches of Wetherspoon's. This one had 2 guests to supplement the Ruddles Best. These were Adnams Ghost Ship & Portobello Star. There was no real cider.
As usual, the app failed to work for me. Luckily, it worked for Mrs S. After 10-15 minutes of waiting for our drinks, a member of staff came to take our order! Luckily, the drinks arrived shortly after. Despite there being plenty of staff and there not appearing to be too many customers, service did seem a bit slow and disorganised.
Certainly an impressive building, but the service and drinks choice lets it down in present times.

Impressive cinema conversion just up from the train station. Friendly service with guests from Sadlers and Lymestone which were fine. I like the old motorbike up on the wall - hence the name Royal Enfield. Worth a visit.

The Royal Enfield is a Wetherspoons pub that is fairly close to Redditch Train station,so handy for me to get my first drink of my crawl round Redditch.
It looks like an old cinema from the outside.
Once inside there is a large room with an island bar close to the entrance,there are slight raised areas on each side of the room,the room is carpeted and had the usual Wetherspoons seating.
The guest beer choice was a bit poor and the service even worse with a long wait,i had a drink of Lymestone Son of Stone,which was a decent drink,the other beers noted were Saddlers Peaky Blinder,Old Speckled Hen,Doom Bar and GK IPA.
I was not that struck with this Wetherspoons.
