This was the only pub not to open on my Bank Holiday visit. Outside, it still shows its old name "Star Hotel" as its main sign and only shows "Percy's" as a small sign on one of its windows. I was reduced to looking through the window to see this pubs curiosity inside, but was able to see more of it on "Google View Inside".
EDIT: Google View inside now gone. you will have to call when it is open.

Formerly The Star. A strange and interesting little pub. Whilst there is no real ale there are 3 real ciders on handpump. Lots of interesting curios are within including old airplane seats, road signs, a strange looking jukebox and old tin advert boards. The till behind the bar is an style till. To the right on entering is a small room called The Tiger Room, here you will find 2 life size white tigers in 2 glass show cases. Worth a bit of your time if in Whitchurch.

This pub is situated in a prime position in the centre of Whitchurch and was an old coaching inn built around 1760 and called The Star. It is now called Percy's which is a crazy place and a far cry from your stereotype pub.On entry you cannot help noticing the room on the right which is jam packed full of antiques and other oddments and curios, with the main bar area with it's zany interior continues in a similar fashion. Amongst the vast array of miscellany is an Harley Davidson motorcycle, a massive moose head hanging over the bar and for seating you are stuck for choice between industrial stools,Edwardian theatre seats and an original Canberra jet ejector seat.
On the ale front I think there was 5 electric pumps consisting of 4 ciders (including a 8.4%Suicider)and a lager that was not on.However there was not a bad selection of bottled beers including the Hobgoblin.
Most certainly worth a visit if in Whitchurch.
