A bottle bar as it doesn't do draught. Does their own bottled beers plus some others. Very pink. Its not what you think and is quite good.

Called in again after the Tod beer festival. The beer was still good but the red wine had gone up to an extortionate £7 per glass. This was for Campo Viejo, a nice enough wine but we had a case delivered last week for £4.89 a bottle. Needless to say we didn't buy any, this is just theft. You've killed the golden goose for us. I doubt that we'll bother again now, what a bunch of muppets. Down a few points for being a complete rip off.

Called in again with the other half and some friends. Another nice bottle of stout and some good company means that this place is growing on me. The other half loved it, so up a point for me, we'll almost certainly be back.

Unusual bright pink bottle only bar on the outskirts of Todmorden town centre. Even the internal walls are pink as are the converted beer barrels that you sit on. As the name suggests there are also lots of paintings of naked women around the walls, however most of these are rather like Henry Moore sculptures. As in you can't tell what it's meant to be really. The bottles are brewed by the people who own the bar and start at £2.80 rising to £4 for a rather hefty 9.3% stout. It's very quirky and it's OK for one but if I wanted to drink bottled beer I'd stay at home.

part art gallery, part bottle shop, none the less a civilised place to drink especially if you like pink. Everything including the furniture is painted pink as if in some homage to Mr Pooter and his red paint, one of my companions did question if it might be “cerise” rather than pink. Possibly he is more in touch with his feminine side than others of us. The walls, where not pink, are covered with artwork, some nudes others abstract but looking rudeish according to some. I counted 16 different types of beer in bottles for sale, all brewed by Barearts, all are bottle conditioned but you can get a jug to decant the beer off the lees. I only tried one beer and it was excellent. They also stock a cider and a perry.
You can drink on the premises or take away and there is also a mail order service.
