Confusingly, the Honiton Inn is situated a few miles outside of Honiton in the village of Awliscombe. Opening hours were reduced last week, such that the pub no longer opens until 4pm on weekdays.
Just one other customer was there when I arrived shortly after 4. But another soon arrived. Two guys were serving. I guessed that one was the landlord. But they may have been co-owners.
The bar is a cosy L-shaped room. There is a skittle alley at the rear and a large car park to the side of the pub.
Disappointingly, the real ale was Doom Bar. There was no real cider.

Good News! I passed here on Wednesday 29th November and noticed signs up that the pub is reopening on the 8th December.

I called here last Tuesday and found it closed. I understand from a local work colleague that it's been closed for a while now. Can anyone else confirm either way?
