The George and Dragon is a stone built pub that has got quite a long frontage.
Once inside there were two rooms the room to the right said pool room on it but this small room had a few leather settees in it,the main room had the bar in it this room was very long running almost the whole length of the pub,the room was carpeted and had comfortable bench seats and small stools.
There were five real ales on the bar i had a drink of Oakwell Barnsley bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beers were Peak Ales Bakewell best,Abbeydale Moonshine,Tetley bitter and Gales Seafarers,i thought that brewery had closed down.
There was decent music playing at the right volume.
I thought this was quite a nice pub.
Note: Pub opens at 1.00 Sat and 2.00 during the week.

Not impressed at all, not welcoming, staff not friendly didn't acknowledge us when we walked in, Beer warm!?!?,
