A detached white rendered pub with a beer garden
The interior had two rooms; the smarter lounde was in white and beam look, with some wallpaper, had a nice fireplace, photographs and other ephemera and was available for dining. The bar had pool, darts and TV, was alos in white and beam style, with a few pictures and mirrors for decoration. The service was very friendly and the clientele mature and local.
Beer; all tap stuff sadly, but the was a decent M&B MILD.
A real ale or two and this pub would be excellent. It is tidy, has a proper bar and lounge, a friendly chap behind the bar that made me feel welcome. I enjoyed the visit to this place and will look forward to another.
