Basic pub with the toilets to the left, bar in the middle and pool table to the right. Keg only.

An old fashioned rowdy male-oriented boozer. To be fair it was rammed on a cold Saturday afternoon in January with loud music and Soccer Saturday being the main points of order. Friendly though, especially given that we looked quite obviously out of place. Interior consists of L shaped main bat with a games room (pool, darts and trophy cabinet) behind. Décor-wise, it’s brown quarter length wood, off-white walls and some fabric banquettes. Two ales, Wells Xmas Stuffing (let’s hope it hadn’t been on since Xmas…) and a surprisingly palatable Doom Bar. 10% CAMRA discount too, not an obvious place to be offering it, but there you go. Cobs behind bar, proper Leicester. It was alright, I was expecting much worse.
