Seemed charmless with harsh lighting and lots of sports TV screens. Great for good atmosphere for live sport but not so good for a quiet drink.

Large and impressive old building but sadly the interior doesn't live up to it. The beamed ceiling is rather overwhelmed by a naff 90's-type refurb with pvc seating and a slight air of dilapidation. Main bar to one side and a games room to the other. An outdoor area to rear in the yard and car park. Beers from Otter and Branscombe Vale seemed ok though. Considerable room for improvement.
