Roadside pub that was very quiet on our Saturday afternoon visit. We managed to get in before its afternoon closure. Whether this was after a lunchtime crowd had finished eating and returned home, I'm not sure, but there was just one local sat at the bar chatting to the landlord and landlady.
There's one long room split into 2 or 3 different areas. Three Tuns Solstice was the real ale. There was no real cider.
The pub last appeared in the Good Beer Guide in 2010 and they appeared to have fallen out with CAMRA somewhat. I read in the local CAMRA magazine that the owners are trying to build a couple of houses to the rear of the pub with CAMRA fearing that an access road impacting the pub garden.
