Renamed to reflect a larger emphasis on food but it now has two hand pumps, Black Sheep Bitter on one and one of the incarnations of Copper Dragon on the other.

Called in here a year or so ago and they had a Black Sheep handpump. Sadly this is now gone and so you are left with a pretty uninspiring range of kegs. There is a decent selection of wines though. The bar is as described by OB below. Despite the fact that it is trying hard not to look like a hotel bar it still feels like one. We probably won't bother calling in again.

The bar of the Yorkshire Hotel but separated from it with its entrance in trendy St John Street. One big square room with the counter against the back wall, this serves a range of less than scintillating kegs, Peroni is probably the best on offer. Windows all down one side face out onto St John Street. The Brasserie part is also separated from the bar by the back wall and glass doors. A choice of seating from high posing stools and tables, to sofas arranged in booth configuration and more conventional tables and chairs with a proper sofa at one end. There is a big screen at each end of the room and there's an outside seating area too. As you may expect service is restaurant/hotel in style.
