Comfortable L-shaped beamed lounge and separate public bar. Real Ales served are Greene King IPA and Hobgoblin. In The Good Beer Guide until 2011.

Just reopened after a short closure for refurbishment. Décor now much smarter and comfortable. One large wall decorated with ultra large scale old ordnance survey map of Bala.

Large family-friendly pub with a reasonable feel to it. Like the rest of the place, both depends on and suffers from the tourists.
