A joint listing for an unusual pair of pubs. Back in the day, the landlord of the Cross Inn married the landlady of the Welsh Harp. This happy event linked the pubs in unholy matrimony too. They share a double-sided bar and the same staff, but each has a completely different identity. The Cross Inn is a comfortable lounge with a restaurant upstairs and quiet piped music. The Welsh Harp is a boisterous bar with Sky TV and a pool table. Very reasonable beer prices, but food is expensive and rather "fancy" at weekends only, unless booked in advance. Good range of bottled beers. In the summer, you'll find us outside enjoying the sun. If you're lucky, the former Stereophonics drummer might pop in for a pint at his local as well...
