A JDW clone on two levels. The rear area has some booths and what looks like a dance floor. There's also a pool table and a table football. There's an array of different seating across the huge pub. The only beer available was Bombardier which was just about OK. It was very quiet on a Monday evening and felt empty due to the large space. It's not great, but we've been in a lot worse.

A Stonegate attempt at a Spoons clone that doesn't really work - a large soulless barn of a place from the 'decorated by numbers' playbook and littered with sports TVs. Ales on were just Wainwight and GK IPA. A reluctant 6 - I suppose some people must like it.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Barbican

Large town centre bar with a modern look. Extra seating area off to one side and a pool table at the far end. Standard Stonegate menu. Starting to get noisy when I visited early on a Friday night. Slightly surprised to see four handpumps, three of which were on, with Greene King IPA, Hardy & Hansons St George's and Courage Best (£2.05) available.
