The Old General is in a built area of Dukinfield,and is very much a local type pub.It is the home of Dukinfield branch of Manchester City supporters club.There is a large bar with plenty of bar stools, There is a large carpark at the rear of the pub.The pub sells cask beers,one of which is a micro brew.
