Narrow village pub immediately next door to another narrow village pub. Brewers tudor, brass in abundance and some pleasant pictures decorating the single large room, there is a small unobtrusive TV at the back. Theakstons Best Bitter plus guests, excellent York Terrier and Guzzler on my last visit but a large collection of pump clips suggests the guests change regularly. Nice village pub atmosphere with the kind of mixed clientele normally found in decent, down to earth village pubs.
