An 18th Century village pub with a small, pleasant garden and a gravelled car park. There are a couple of functional outbuildings off the car park, one of which contains a skittle alley. The bar is open plan, and there are exposed timbers which seem mainly cosmetic. There is a central chimney breast remaining which is open both sides. A smaller room with a laminate floor appears to be a games room or a children’s room, and there is another open room with a bar billiards table. There were snacks on the bar for humans and water provided for dogs. Grown-up food is freshly cooked and locally sourced, while it wasn’t too expensive. It’s a standard pub menu plus a monthly curry night. Ales on were Butcombe Original and Exmoor Fox; the latter was in perfect condition. I’d be very happy to come back here for their food and beer any time.

Having just returned from another fantastic week in Taunton i decided to review some of the places we visited.
The White Hart Inn is in the gorgeous little village of Corfe, Nr Taunton in Somerset.
Its a beautiful little pub serving very tasty home made food. The menu is great, the servings are very generous and the owners are very frinedly and welcoming.
We've visited the White Hart a few times now when we stay in Taunton as its very close to the campsite we use. We've never been dissapointed and are happily working our way through the menu.
I'd absolutely recommend you visit the White Hart Inn and if theres anything you do when you visit you MUST try the home made lemon meringue pie!!! It'll blow your socks off! Its absolutely amazing.
