Stuck in Lockdown 2 for Covid 19, so thought I would go through my notes and add a few words on the pubs and bars visited after being released from Lockdown 1. This was my first pub for a drink on 14 July,and I did enjoy my Lymestone Stone Faced despite nerves at starting to get out and about again. The bar was pretty full and folk appeared to be enjoying their freedom again, despite the restrictions being imposed.

A good sized pub, but unfortunately quite dated in décor and featureless. Bright orange walls at the rear the pub and a free standing black wrought iron work gas fire basket, could be described as two stand out items. Beer wise, nothing outstanding on the cask line up, apart from a Banks and Taylor SOD, A 5% at £2.15 a pint.

Not the most welcoming spoons you will ever see. The usual 3 beers plus Titanic Iceberg and Red Racer from Canada on my last visit which were in decent shape.
