The Pilgrim Oak is a Wetherspoons pub that is situated on Hucknall's main shopping street.
Once inside there is a long oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, there are slight raised areas on each side of the room, the bar is on the rear left side, the room carpeted, the seating is normal tables and chairs to the front, tall tables and chairs opposite the bar and some bench seating to the rear.
I have been in this pub loads of times and always found it to be decent enough.
On my recent visit i had a drink of Bradfield Farmers Blonde, which was a decent drink, the other beers noted were Bowman Quiver,GK Abbot and Spitfire.

This is set on the ground floor of a mid twentieth century building that apparently was once a Co-Op. Inside it's a roughly L shaped room with fairly typical fixtures and fittings.
Although the bar has twelve hand pumps the beer choice was average. There was one unused, the JDW Trio Of Doom, four festival ciders, the recently watered down Robinsons Trooper, Springhead Roaring Meg, Celt Bleddyn and an extra Abbot. I went for the Roaring Meg which was in good nick.
This seemed a fairly unremarkable Spoons to me.

Old style, run of the mill Spoons with a tiled floor feature as you enter. Lots of booths down each side wall, which had coloured stained glass in the partitions and coloured glass surrounding the pub front façade. The beer choice between two backs of six was dismal, settled on a Amber Ales Dambuster which was a bit wishy washy. The customer base was mainly locals and a mobility scooter with a plate on the bottom reading Arseholed, just about summed up the place. Disappointed I didn't get a photo of the aforementioned chariot.
